Just wondering if there is a web site strictly for error coins Australian ?
My son who lives in Brisbane sent me some coins from 2001 all 50 c and different states . I have some with doubling on them in particular South Australia , Double date and Australia .
Unfortunately , unable to post pictures at this time .

Any help would be appreciated .
Thanks Gramps .
Rest in Peace

Good question CPC. Their are a great number of Australian members here.
At this time they are probably all sleeping. (Time Zone) Stick around and your questions should be answered.

There are a great many Australian error experts on this site ( unfortunately I am not one of them) I strive for perfection in my collection
To me error coins are simply broken or badly made products and I have no real interest in them.
I do have some of the "Classic" errors (over dates, incused etc) but Cuds, die cracks, clips, planchet peels and doubling are just badly made coins to me.
This is simply MY opinion and I will probably get flamed for it by the error people But hay its a free world

I posted pictures of some 2001 50 cent CoF errors last year, many with doubling, here is a link:

No specific Aussie error site that I am aware of.

Hi there. There are many useful threads in this forum that have covered just about every error coin produced. Many threads have excellent piccies, with Nancyc being the uncrowned queen of collecting errors coins and clearly documenting them here.

I also found (still find) this other website (www.australian-threeence.com) particularly useful to learn more about error coins.

Ahhhh, so much to read, so little time ...

PS I was in Canada in late 2011 and loved it - well, most of it ... wasn't particlarly enthralled with the prairies when heading east. (Hope you aren't from that part , no offence meant if you are )
