This is an interesting coin of mine. The coin has great detail and overall appearance but the rim looks like it has been smashed and the coin has some nicks/scratches. It is one of my favorite coins because I like the toning and detail, but what do you think the value is given the damage?

The damage would lower the value. It's not much that it lowered by, maybe 15% less for what it's worth.

VF details, some damage, but overall a good eye appeal, I'd say you got a good deal. I'd bid around 25$ for this one in an auction .
