there are many threads about this but I will start off with the ones off the top of my head and let people add on.

any 1920-1936 will hold a bit of a premium but especially 1922-1926 and 1931 (key dates and semi key dates)
1953 SF
1954 NSF
1955 NSF
1964 - Large Bead Pointed 5
1979 - doubling on any number of date
1983 Near Beads
1985 Pointed 5
2005P
2006 Magnetic No Logo No P

DrDanger99, if you could acquire every cent from 1858-1936, you'll never go wrong! ( ....and the higher the grade and the redder the shade, it's like the icing on the cake)

@ jakedacc, 2005P? Really?

I find these things all the time. I just toss 'em back. Or did you mean 2006P?

Is that 1964 one just a mistake? I know the 65 has the varieties.. Yes I have quite a bunch of the 2005P as well, but besides the 2006 special ones, the one that I can never find (have just one) is the 2007 RCM nonmagnetic. I'd keep my eye out for that one as well..

I'm sure that we both meant 1965 LBP5.

My guess is that when he said 2005p he means the non magnetic one. That sells for a couple thousand $.

No, the magnetic one isn't. So far all non magnetics have come out of mint sets I believe.
