Sap Moderator Australia 16854 Posts	Posted 02/13/2013 7:13 pm There was no "Year Zero" in regnal dating; 1223 was Year 1, 1224 was Year 2, and so forth. So the correct formula you need to use to work out the date is 1223 + 24 - 1 = 1246. AH 1246 began on 22 June 1830 and ended on 11 June 1831; this is why the AD converted date is quoted as "1830/31".
