Hello
I found this coin among some old coins I never searched and I came across this guy. Its a pointed 5 A points to bead but it just has a weird appearance the whole coin seems to be struck through or something. I don't think its a drier coin or acid damage. The pictures of the coin suck because the were taken with my iphone I don't have access to a camera right now but I will later.
Let me know what you guys think.

Is it the same thickness as a regular penny?

It doesn't look like a strike through to me, but the pictures are pretty rough. I'll let the experts chime in. Better pictures would definately help.

Do you have a macro setting on your phones camera?

jkol2369...with the data I have been collecting on the weights of used coins, your coin average weight should be approx. 3.204 grams.

Thanks wert so what kind of damage do you guys think happened here if it was damage? What would explain the 0.2 grams that are missing? normal wear? I think its a very interesting coin because of the pointed 5 and the A pointing to a bead.
