i have that looks a lot like yours its a lot thinner then the regular size Pennie.i never found out what happen to it

It really doesn't have to even be a real acid ... Coke or Pepsi (with some refreshens) will come close as well. But they've been chemically affected.

It seems like these acid treated coin inquiries have almost taken over these forums. It is my hope that someday they will appear as an exception instead of the rule. I am also tired of seeing them on ebay as struck on foreign or thin planchets. UGH!

My comments were intended to point out that I am tired of seeing acid treated coins on these forums, both in US and Canadian sections. Enough is enough. Just search the word acid and you will see what I mean. You already knew what you had so my comments weren't directed specifically at you, just the subject matter in general.
