Trying to see a pic of a coin that was certified by PCGS. The numbers come back OK but no picture. Is there something I am missing?

Not every coin is photographed by them, they may photo every coin for their own records but if they do it doesn't end up on the website.

PCGS only started building their photo archives during the past year so there are 25 years worth of PCGS slabbed coins out there that are not in the archives and a few months that are. NGC has been building their archive for three years and they have about 3 million of the 26+million NGC coins in their archive.

Some of the Plate coins on PCGS Coinfacts are there and the Secure Plus slabs have images...but

I have a couple of the images that are on PCGS, mostly varieties and "high-brow" coins.

Here is one (non high-brow) that I just picked up which just happens to be in the PCGS photo-database;
