They all weigh about 50 grams, give or take, and are about 50 mm in diameter.

They check out as fine silver (99.9%) with my XRF and density scales.

These are more modern than the Ramatanka type tokens and fulfill a different role. They are jeweller's silver rounds and frequently given as presents for Diwali or on the birth of a child. Although they feature religious iconography their purpose is more earthly.

ONE way combining silver round bullion collecting with their use as Temple Token, I guess!

I suspect that someone in India has seen a commercial opportunity, with the growing prosperity of the middle classes in that Country.
They probably won't be used much as Temple Tokens, and will probably be regarded as some sort of Hindu NCLT.
