! A new detector - finally! Good to see some old stuff about.

A mod will be along and they'll move you to either world coins or metal detecting forum.

I dont know what it is but its lovely - not seen a hammered in such a nice condition.

Actually, moved it to the Identification forum. Once it is identified, it will probably be moved to a more appropriate forum.

Very nice find. I am guessing one of the German states. Somewhere around Saxony.

This coin looks like it may have had some solder removed from a suspension mount, some time in the past.
It is still a desirable item to have in any colletion of World Coins.
