Clipped groat or halfgroat, missing the better part of the sovereign's name, but I think we can see the bottom of ED after the cross pattÊe at the top of the obverse. Anders' website is for Tudor coins, though, and I don't think this coin is Tudor; the Edward VI reverses are different. The groat was introduced under Edward I, but didn't really take off until Edward III's reign. No groats were minted under Edward II.
