Yes I would let plat play out first, it also looks very weak and ready to also continue a leg lower, and again I think on something like this, you look for like, the US Mints coin that's proof to get some cushion, I am not sure who's got a palladium proof coin, perhaps the RCM? not sure. I been eyeing that plat proof coin the US Mint has, which btw thanks for the info about the privy mark Northie... but seeing prices rise in palladium, I think that helps the case for the US Mint to do some palladium coins in the future. |

My 3 favorites are the clipper ship palladium coins from Bermuda, Chinese Pandas, and the Ballerinas from Russia. The cheapest tend to be the Maple Leaves. I was lucky enough to get 10 Lewis and Clark Stillwater Rounds for 180 ea. Those were the 1st palladium coins I purchased. http://www.precious-metal-services....adium-coins/Edited by wjl

Wow, I'm not even nibbling anymore, because silver hasn't even bottomed yet! Very quick sell-off; cut through $21 like butter.  Hard to be patient! |

I know it is hard to be patient, but this is how the biz works. You must be patient.
Commodities are even worse when it comes to drops,,, there;s NO VALUE INVESTORS that step forward. Right now the ones making big money are the short sellers and believe it not, those who are selling here most likely are funds that have yet to sell but are still ahead and saying,"that's it, this is were we take profits".
I wish no one had bought at any of the dumps in price. UNLESS you have inside info, you shouldn't be buying here because the funds are NOT buying here, I guarantee that.

Yes, I know its hard my friend.
However, lets see what happens at 20, thats my game plan, as I wrote in a earlier post. IF we break 20, then first I put it in a range of 20-15. In this area we will run into substantial support in terms of price, but remember, this would only be a reference point.
If we break that area, and its wayyyy to early to know yet... chances are high the prices could be attracted to its historical lows.
However, lets take everything, level by level. Lets look for clues, lets look for areas of heavy volume in both selling and buying.

I may finally get the 10 oz. Noah's Ark Paperweight I want. Still like my call for Silver hitting $20. I did have Gold at $1,200 but after a quick look at some stuff wondering if $1,000 isn't more like it. Well I am not an expert and those are just guesses by someone who may not be as smart as the guy reading this post.

Star, I think you are a very fair person. I think you will be able to get those pieces you want at much lower prices.
At this point, I just hope everyone has the patience and time to wait for them.

OK, so gang, for tomorrow..
we are looking for-
1- a retest of the year lows
2- how far does the selling go?
I;ll be using as always the proxies SLV and GLD as I always do because its the easier way to break things down for those of you following at home.

very interesting action this morning to say the least, turning to our proxies GLD and SLV
Silver, as I have been noting, very weak and making yearly lows. Gold on the other hand, comes in and catches a bid. FOr this reason I have been saying, if you really want to buy going forward, purchases would be best done on the gold side. But again remember, both these metals are in strong downtrends.
turning to SLV and GLD-
SLV - a another new yearly low, and a lower high and lower low... confirms the continued price action to the downside
GLD- also making a lower higher and lower low, but no new yearly high. At this point, watch to see if and when they press on the short side, I suspect they will.

interesting price action in silver and gold thus far as the day proceeds, but again, not really all that out of the ordinary. This goes along with my "slow train wreck" price action, where yearly lows are hit, and then met with a bounce and retracement.
Still the day traders are enjoying themselves today.
