Searching My Last Few Boxes Of Pennies

samsnate Pillar of the Community Canada 1723 Posts	Posted 02/15/2013 11:36 pm Started searching my last few boxes of Canadian pennies that I picked up before they stopped handing them out. Picked up 16 boxes during the last week they were available and have 6 boxes left. Been pretty good so far. Most boxes yielding 8 or so from the 40's and about 10 or so from the 50's. Hope these numbers continue. Have found a good handful of wheat cents as well...maybe 5 or 6 per box. One particular box I was happy with....yielded the numbers stated above but what made this one special was it gave me a 1911 Wheat cent....1936 Canadian and a 1959 silver dime I have found quite a few dimes in penny rolls before but this box gave me my first silver from a penny box and my oldest American wheat. Well wanted to share. One more box tonight. Off to it...will lets yas know if anything real good shows up. Come on 1923 24! Report this Post to the Staff

I managed to pull: * 2 wheats (1941 and 1950) * my oldest Canadian circulation penny (1938) * Euro 1 cent * Euro 2 cent * Bahamas penny * Barbados penny * Jamaica 25 cents Plus small highlight #1 - a 1962 silver dime and...
