In The First Pic The Top Of The 7's Corner And In The Forst And Second Pic Slightly From The Back And Under The 4... Also It Looks Odd Around Where The V.D.B Is Struck.. How Can You See The Difference Or What Tips You Off To It Being Machine Rather then Die Doubling ?

Yes I am fairly new to using forums and trying my best..Sorry about the initial caps (habit..but I revised it for y'all so I don't bug anyone else).. I cant figure out what looks to be MD vs SD? I have used this drawing (btw whoever made it thank you!) to compare and because I see the notches I'm leaning we towards it being a legit DDO but then again I'm just not at the skill level that I can say anything for sure except that I would like it to be a DDO for sure as I have found hundreds of coins with what I thought to be a DDO but they always end up missing something like the notches so it would be nice.

I am no pro so take my opinions as such. I think it's MD because it looks shelf like and not rounded. The top of the 7 looks like it took a hit that makes it look like a notch. The VDB is a whole nether think because it's incuse and that plays tricks on your eye. Lets wait for a pro to chime in on this, I have been wrong a time or two in the past. John1

Looks like all the secondary doubling in all the devices is directed towards the rim.The "date" "IGWT" "Liberty" which would lead me believe it's an excellent example of Machine doubling/die chatter.I'm not an expert but it's just IMHO

It's unlikely to be a doubled die as the doubling is heading in several different directions. In IN GOD WE TRUST the doubling is in a N-S direction while it's E-W in LIBERTY. Doubled dies show a consistent directionality. Multi-directional Machine Doubling is, however, a well-known phenomenon, so I'd tentatively throw my lot in with that diagnosis.
