1952 Missing 5 - Coin Community Forum

CPC2013 Valued Member Canada 377 Posts	Posted 02/17/2013 11:32 pm The five is almost missing on this coin. At first thought it was rubbed off some how , but at closer look could be missed stamped ? Any one have an opinion ? Report this Post to the Staff

pennysaver Pillar of the Community Canada 937 Posts	Posted 02/18/2013 07:20 am Looks like it's possibly a Struck Through Grease error. The flawed area has the proper chromium-plated bluiesh colour, so the coin was not damaged or the number rubbed off after it was minted. Looks like the rest of the coin is in nice shape too.
