Every Time I turn around there's another story on this forum about a 'dryer coin.' What's with all these Dryer Coins? This is getting out of hand. All this unnecessary assault and destruction of US coinage. It's time we call for a ban on all assault dryers. We need to close the 'dryer show' loop hole. When will all this madness end? We need to limit on how much change a dryer can hold. Companies like Whirlpool, Maytag and GE are only concerned with lining their pockets with non-dryer coins. Do we really need all these high capacity dryers within reach of our children? We need to return to a simpler time when the only thing we lined our pockets with was lint. Who's with me?

I find all my coins in the washing machines. Never make it to a dryer.

Must be some type of experiment where you put a whole lot of coins in the dryer and see what will happen?!

Here is a good thread on Dryer Coins https://goccf.com/t/115336

And another good thread on what looks like a Dryer Coin but is not https://goccf.com/t/141796

I have a habit of seeing that rim and jumping on the Dryer Coin bandwagon. Truth is there are many way to fin a rim.

I say ban dryers and go strictly back to clothes lines. Think of all the energy that would be saved. But the best part of this idea would be getting permission to metal detect the ground under everyone's clothes lines.
