Nice looking dime with what appears to be a heavy, original patina. I would say XF40 and around $30.

I would agree with EF as well and nice to see one of these without those ugly circular scrub marks you see on them often.

On the reverse, the words "ONE DIME" are very light with some letters almost missing. Does this look like a weak strike or just wear?

Looks like a weak strike to me. There's too much detail in other places for this to be wear. Nice coin.

I'm not sure its strike related, it could be environmental but that is why pics out of the flip and away from the reflection of the mylar are ideal are you able to post?

Much better out of the mylar
I believe I can attribute this as an F-112 Obverse 12: High Level Date, Small Knob 6 Reverse L: Doubling in Lower Right Wreath, D(IM)E Weakness < the only thing I can't tell that would solidify it as the L Reverse is the doubling.
If you have a good loop in-hand take a look around edges of the lower right wreath closer to the edge side and see if you can make out any doubling. The wear might be an issue to locate it when compared to the plate coin Fortin shows in his web book which is an AU58
It's a great dime you have...very crusty looking mottled patina, nice and original
