I say... give silver and gold one more day to puke before buying if you haven't already. While there's no telling where we bounce for now, both these metals are going to be coming into areas of price support. It does NOT mean this is where they have stopped moving downward.
and remember to nibble only. Why keep buying every dip when you could have just waited patiently and gotten better prices?

I don't think you need to apologize yup7676, however I am pretty sure everyone on the forum is aware of your feelings about gold and silver. They are only going down in price from here on forward, no need to keep repeating it in different posts.

Hey! I like yups post and I own like 2 ounces of silver.
I personally agree - I dont own much and its values going down whilst the value of what I traded for it remains (hey, I like the silver I've got for more than its material worth) but if it goes down to $20 an ounce I could afford some (on larger quantities)! That would be great.
Although I feel for those who have invested in metals.

Anyone who invested in silver most likely knew the history of silver. Silver has huge ups and downs. I personally have a good amount of silver but I am not worried about the recent fall. I bought silver as a long term investment and also because I like to collect silver. Even if it crashes to new lows, that will still be ok. This is the thing about investments. You strike jackpot with some, and some will go belly-up. You make an informed decision and then live with your choice.

Quote: Even if it crashes to new lows, that will still be ok. Exactly. Unless you have 100s of thousands of dollars even if it tanked to a dollar an ounce you could more than make up for the with savings on new purchases and create quite a nice selling pile for the next spike whenever that may be

That's not my point.......
*sighs* Look, the market is constantly moving and changing. It is a discount mechanism that looks into the future.
I think I ma going to start EVERY post with- my views are NOT a bias towards metals in any direction. I am a trend following trader. I am only seeking a trend.
I have already stated in a previous post here, the direction of this trend and what the outcomes can be.
I have in no way said metals are bust and going to zero. The markets decide the price not I , I just observe the tape and follow along.

You have expressed your opinion ad nauseum. It's incredibly annoying to reread that exact same opinion repeatedly.....especially when the posts appear to be a vehicle for you to pat yourself on the back & crow about your genius as a trends trader.

It appears to me that you might be trying to facilitate a trend. Maybe help it along a little, to buy a super low? Why would the big guys be wanting to keep metals pushed down right now? There must be some big trouble for some bankers if silver rises to where it wants to go. What do you guys think this trouble might be, that these guys would be in?

Hahhahaa....Arcticsparky, you read my mind.
If you want the answer to your questions, look up the history between Bear Stearns and JP Morgan. (Quick google search of "Bear Stearns silver JP Morgan" shows the basic answer.)
