Yup lowball. Two questions though. Why no ebay buying? Do you carry all those listed pocket pieces at the same time? Just curious.

This looks like a potential Ecuadorian counterfeit. The details match one in my collection, and the date is very weak.
No way to tell without examining the edge, though.

From my experience the dates on Sacagawea dollars don't hold up very well to circulation for what ever reason, give me a few minutes to get some pics of my 2000d pocket piece, to see what I mean.

I can't believe it even has bids. I took $75 worth of junk like this to the back just a few weeks ago and I have almost have another full roll on my desk. I can't imagine these selling for enough to break even on the fees and shipping.

They are legal tender in Ecuador and El Salvador.

When you can make them for 20 cents a piece, you profit 80 cents with each one you pass.
I have two fake Sacs in my collection. One is solid brass that I actually received from my credit union. The other is a very odd fake "sandwich" where the date and details are very very weak, but the mint mark is as crisp as day.

That ebay one reminds me of this one that I got from circulation a while ago in Canada.

Actually I find quite a number of Sacs that are are of similiar quality to the one currently up for bidding on ebay at my local bank. For the life of me I don't understand why someone would be bidding $1.54 (with 4 bids) on something that you get all day long at the local bank for just $1.00. If someone wants a similiar quality coin I would be more than will to sell one of mine for just $1.25 provided they pay shipping. Okay, maybe I can understand the bidding if the bidders are not in the U.S.. (edit) I'm also sure that there are a number of forum members who would also be willing to sell their coins for the same price and conditions. Nina is that you selling the coin of ebay. If it is more power to you. The only reason that I thought of you was that it was a cashier doing the selling. If it was another forum member my hat it off to you also.

Yeah, looking at his past sold items this seller loses money quite frequently on shipping/ebay fees. I guess he's selling the coins for publicity.
