It is a reltively modern cast reproduction of a replica.

Much better pictures, we can help you with these now As stated in last nights thread I think this coin could be cast and not original: http://www.forumancientcoins.com/fa...p?pos=-10488The above is a coin from Forum Ancient Coins Fake Database, some very knowledgeable people contribute to it and they are well respected. If you look at your coin, above the right-most grouped figure on the reverse you can see what look like two small depressions, these depressions are also present on the coin from FAC database. Their opinion of that coin is that it is a case fake but possibly a Paduan (very old cast fakes that do still have value). The flan shape of the reverse also looks like an exact match for your coin as is the oddly shaped 'C' in SC, this is not good news. The obverse however is not the same, its from a different coin. I would like to hear Martins opinion but I feel your coin is not original and has been cast from an original (or two originals, obverse, reverse) at some point in the past. If it can be identified as a Paduan it would still have some value but it is more likely is a far more recent fake made in the last 50 years. It is also pretty much bare metal, again not good. Probably not what you wanted to hear but my opinion, hopefully we can have better luck on the others

I'm slower than everyone. I agree a later cast copy that has been over cleaned. Paduan copies were produced in the 1500's. They are copies of the orginal coins and if they can be IDed as a Paduan have some value. Your example however has it's patina removed so it's value is very limited.

So despite being informed that this is a copy of a replica I see it (and others) are now listed on ebay. This one does not mention any thought of it being a replica. I shall not provide any further assistance.

It is a copy of a replica. It is not a copy of a real coin. If I show you 7 pence piece can you tell me it isn't real without having it in had. Of course you could. I am not helping any further.
