Sorry for the late reply - I've been working through the backlog of identified coins, and I never noticed this one.

It's a copper follis from the Byzantine Empire. It's one of the "Anonymous" series; specifically, it's the type known as Class C, whcih are attributed to the reign of emperor Michael IV (AD 1034-1041).
