Hi all. this is my first posting so please be kind
This coin was in my first batch of Roman crusties, I really havn't a clue where to start to ID it.
The dimensions are 15mm vertical axis, 13mm horizontal axis and about 1.5mm thickness. Its not flat but scrunched and twisted slightly.
Seen better days.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I think it's a Greek coin. Maybe a Seleucid bronze with Apollo rev.

But possibly a Provincial.

I'll have a little more time to look in a while but maybe someone will get it for you before that.

Oh yes, and to the ancient forum.

The reverse legend looks Greek but beyond that I can't tell much more.

Thanks for the welcome Doucet and echizento.
I appreciate your inputs. Never heard of seleucid coins before, but now I've seen a few on the net, I can see where you're coming from.
Seems to be Apollo standing. some photo's of the coins have a bow or tripod with him. I have some minims with Apollo from the same batch of crusties, same pose and can just about make him out leaning on a bow. But they are tiny (7mm).
Might it be helpful if I post some of the other coins to give some context?
As perhaps they originate from the same source.

Grateful for your help.

My impression of the first coin was Seleucid too--shape, strike, details.
