With the silver I bought last week I am over the 200 oz mark. Started buying in Dec 2011. I've moved up and down a bit but am currently pretty satisfied with having moved past 200.
I only have one set of BU Franklins that I'm working on. Probably going to concentrate on straight low premium bullion and rebuilding my junk silver pile.

Did an inventory as well over the weekend I have now paid off 40.76% of the PM I own with profit made from trading and sales :) Almost half way to paying off the entire collection

half and half, but rarely straight up bullion. What I learned is that ASEs, SMLs, and the like won't make anything substantial even with large moves in spot price unless I we are talking hundreds and hundreds of ounces. Not if you factor in the time take to buy and sell. The best bets in bullion are those with considerable collectible value (old engelhards, old JM Canada, old RCM 999, Perth Mint bullion, etc.) 40+% sounds good on paper but in reality the money has almost solely gone into the diaper fund, principal and profit ... babies should come with a disclaimer tattooed to their cute behinds: "I will be a hella more expensive than you thought I'd be"

Don't worry too much about when the babies start day care. Worry more about when they go to college or when the girls get married.

I'll get the brain washing started as soon as he can talk - "no need to go to college/university if you don't absolutely want to become a profession doctor/lawyer/engineer... right~~", "look at your parents, no big wedding and still so happy~~", "support public transit, save a tree, you don't need a car~~" kookaburras, koalas, and some roos seem to do well even where there's a drop. The lunar series, which at issuance and be had for only slightly above ASE price, hold their own as well. Especially the odder sizes, 2, 5, 10oz,when compared to philharmonics, SML, and ASE.

I've collected over 150 troy oz. of silver in junk silver coins at face value. Collected most of them in the 60 and 70's. All 90% silver coins. So no matter what the price of silver and cost of melting them. I'm still ahead of the game.
