friend of mine found some coins under floor boards in his old shop/house , about twenty all up florins and sixpences keeps them in a plastic bag anyhow this one was the stand out for me and for a six pack of beer it was mine

Wish I could find some silver.

Without seeing the edge its impossible to tell if its a tilted collar. At this point it just looks slightly off centre.

ah so the edge is important ,well its got one side thicker than normal and one thin

Slight off centre strike. Not too hard to find in pre decimals, with this degree of off centre strike.

Yeh its not a partial collar, just a slightly off centre coin. The 'circulation cameo' doesn't look to bad anyway.

Ive just had a second look and the top photo of the edge shows the slightest interuption of the milling at the bottom. It could just be called a tilted partial collar I suppose.

I seen a 5 cent on ebay just like this & they were selling it as a partial collar,technically I guess it is but personally they don't have any allure to me,sorry.

thks enworb/appleangel07 guess it was worth the beer and its the only florin I have so far ,i like the design on this one
