Do Lincoln pennies rainbow? I have recently come across a few that appear to be rainbowed, but I wasn't sure if that actually occurs with Lincolns. Anyone else have experience with that?

Here is an example of what I'm talking about. Am I just imagining things, or do Lincolns actually take on the colors like this?

Agreed. I was going through some old wheats the other day and pulled 5 or so rainbow Lincolns. I think I have the start of a new collection

It sure would be a fun, inexpensive collection... and would be VERY eye appealing. I have a very small Lincoln collection amongst all my other coins, and the toned Lincolns are awesome. The same goes for my toned IHCs. When in original, uncleaned condition, they can't be beat for eye appeal.
