I just got this one recently from a melt bucket despite the grade and original, lustrous surfaces I believe that it may be AU, but I'm not certain. What would you say? Also I am a bit curious as to what type of price you would assign to my coin since my Krause only lists EF and BU. Any input would be appreciated! *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

Viewing on my cell phone but looks ef to me. Trends around 125 I believe.
Has anyone else noticed how frequently ef and au coins of this year are for sale compared to uncs?

jg86- Thanks for the input! Well, even if it is only an EF, I still got a great deal on this coin.

Not quite EF,too much wear on the reverse,IMO.Too bad we don't have VF35. Tough to find in MS,easier to find at dealers and shows than ebay.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning... -from PCGS website

I think it would make EF.
Calling it 'original', in my opinion is a big stretch.
An 'EF' 1934 coin that is brilliant white has obviously been dipped a time or two.
I would say silver over the course of some odd 80 years would have tarnished quite a bit.
But dipping is not all that bad because it's not 'cleaned', just dipped......which is a big difference.

It looks EF to me but I am no expert on these. Either way great find for melt value!

Also, thinks it's a great pick up, I think you better go back and check that 'melt bucket' again.
