Victorian Shillingsize Coin/Token With 'Wd' On Reverse?

I have this Victorian shillingsize coin/token with 'WD' on reverse

I think it is made out of brass but I am not 100% sure.

I have had it for a while but never figured out what it is and what the WD stands for.

The obverse is a typical card-game counter from the mid-1800s. I suspect somebody running a small-time gambling operation purchased a bunch of these with blank reverses then stamped his own mark on them.

Given the mostly-illegal status of card-gambling back then, nobody would have kept records; I doubt we'll ever know what the "WD" stands for.
