Just curious...what are you seeing for ASE bid/ask locally?

I stopped in at a LCS last week and they are buying for $28, selling for $38. Silver would have to appreciate about 35% for someone to break even at that spread.

Amazingly, every just about every coin on display is marked as MS, such as the most harshly whizzed 1921XF Details Morgan I've seen for $50 FIRM! If you are lucky enough to have a better LCS near you, appreciate them.

I pay $3 over for ASE no matter the price as long as they are in stock which they seldom are. I pay $1.75 over for what he calls generic silver, which sometimes includes old pour Engel and JM bars. Been buying alot of 90% lately because sometimes that is all there is.

Kitco has them for 32.18 a piece right now. 31.82 for 100+ for ASE's.

I get "colorized" ASEs for $1.50 over spot. Then, out comes the acetone and "Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work we go..." I pay $3 over spot for non-desecrated ASEs.

According to my LCS's Website, Sunday evening at $28.72 spot, they list silver eagles and Canada maple leafs for $32.72, generic $30.72 and 90% at 21.6 x face.

My one LGS is always $3 over for current year ASE, $2.25 over for older ASE, $1.25 over for generic bullion. They do the same for Maple Leafs. I never buy junk silver there. I have another LCS that rounds down for junk silver.

You're doing better than I am. I pay @2.50 over spot for generic rounds. The eagles are $5 over. I'm buying generic, but wish it were lower.
