I feel as if I'm the only one that has purchased the tiny hummingbird. Any thoughts or suggestions on this new series?

I bought one as well. Yes, it's very small and not cheap, but I like the hummingbird in flight and I have the caribou and cougar.

I have one - like others say, wish it was a bigger coin - but then the price would be more. Isn't this part of series of gold coins this size?

I got one. The series started with the Caribou in 2010. Then the 2011 Cougar. I don't think there was one for 2012 so this would be the third.

Just checked the RCM site it states: NEW! Your hummingbird coin is the first release in the Royal Canadian Mint's new series of small animals on our smallest gold coins.

Correct. First in a series.

Caribou and cougar are .5g 25 cent gold but this is a new series according to the Mint.
