Hello all, I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on how I should grade this Trade dollar. Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance... Scott

Where did you get the coin? someone cut off both of her hands..
Also, the eagles head looks a bit funky. More like a wolf than an eagle (could be a hit, but the hair looks like an ear).

Details look VF, but I'm not sure about the authenticity of the coin.

If real, looks to be about VF-25 or there about, but would probably get a details grade due to the two marks on the obverse on the wrists. Have you checked the weight & to see whether or not it sticks to a magnet yet?

I did weigh the coin and did the magnet test and both came back good, weight correct and non magnetic. Now my curiosity rises. I'll have to do more digging. Thanks folks for chiming in. Hopefully it'll turn out ok...

I don't really see anything alarming regarding the coin's authenticity. Maybe some striations indicating a brushing, but nothing yells "FAKE!" at me.

Looks like a decent VF-35 or possibly EF-40 coin. Might have been cleaned at some point.

I don't see any red flags with this coin. Surfaces appear cleaned like in the right obverse field near the sheaf of wheat. I will say it has VF-35 details.
