Of course that pic makes the little 5 cent piece the size of a football, so every imperfection is now huge,...

Nice coin! Looks like it could go EF45.Old embossed holder from a time of more conservative grading by ICCS.IMO pop it out,resubmit,and see if they'll note "small 5/5"

Thanks for the feedback. I also think that many of my interesting pieces are conservatively graded too.

I just don't know how they would ever backtrack on a past grading.... by the same company.

Resubmit it as a raw coin.It's done all the time,when chance of a better grade is worthwhile.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
