1973 RCM / Royal Canadian Mint P Quarter Misaligned Die?

Solidifier Pillar of the Community Canada 814 Posts	Posted 03/04/2013 11:45 am just curious if this is a misaligned die? bottom it thicker than the top and its about 10% rotated when I flip the coin.... thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

nickelsguy Pillar of the Community Canada 2301 Posts	Posted 03/07/2013 2:22 pm as the obv is the anvil die, which can not be misaligned, I feel this is another example of a poorly adjusted collar. The collar did not hold the planchet right zero in the middle of the striking chamber. Make sense? Report this Post to the Staff
