I'm trying to figure out what grade of coin this is. The details and shine are stumping me. Also, What Overton variety? The stars generally touch the rim.

I like it as an O-115. Based on the appearence of the arrowheads and star curl relationship. Others will chime in.

First: Captain to the Forum!!

Second: This is an astounding coin! Great detail and amazingly strong strike.

Third: I would call this Overton as O-115 (R1).

Fourth: I would grade this beauty as a very nice AU-58. (possibly polished?)

(You guys are TOO fast! I need more time to Overton research than you guys!!)

There is some wear on the hair curls and feathers. The coin could grade AU-55 but the surface of the reverse has a greasy appearance which may be a sign of cleaning or overdipping. It may just be a result of the photography. Still, a nice coin!

Here's a couple pictures of the one I bought last year... It came back as AU-58. Sorry about the quality of the pics, but I think it's pretty comparable to yours

If you get clearer pictures, you need to repost them! I, personally, would REALLY like to see this coin up close and personal! yahoo]
