Does anyone have a picture to detail the difference between a NSS and SS. Is the "Should Strap" the fine ridge along the hind shoulder on the queen?

I think the main reason that a new master die was cut is that it can be inferred that good 'ole Queen Bess may be bare shouldered. THAT would NOT do, would it?

If you look closely at a uncirculated '53 to '55 coin in the shoulder area, she IS in fact fully clothed. Note carefully the bodice area, and behind the neck. Thing is, close inspection is required. Normally, a shoulder strap is invisible under a light fitting blouse.
I know. I like studying young women. In her younger days, good Queen Bess was quite an attractive young lady.

The Gillick bust (original or modified), doesn't really do justice to her beauty at that age.

The Machin and Maklouf busts are much more to my liking even though She appears older.

Check the coinsandcanada site it has a good reference picture. If you find yourself hmmm-ing and haa-ing over the "I" it is SF.
