Before I sell these items do I need to send them to a particular coin grader?
Sorry, I'm a novice. My family is financially strapped so I'm trying to get the most out of what was inherited.thanks for all the help

You don't need to get them graded to sell them.
They are not in the shape to be graded anyway unless they were a key date.
I say best thing you can do is just put them on ebay in an auction and let the bidders decide how much they're worth.

, as non of these is exceptional or key date, there is no point in slabbing them.

I'd probably sell those in 3 lots (Morgans, Peace $s and the Seated Half).

You could probably expect 180-220$ for all of them, before paying the eBay/Paypal fees.

Most of the common peace and Morgan dollars go for $35-$40 a piece on ebay and the half maybe $25-$30. The best way to get the most for them is on ebay.

Maybe it's just me, but the 1856 O Half here looks suspiciously like the one talked about here:

Thoughts?

Is the 1856 possibly fake?
I wont sell it if so. I inherited all these coins so I'm unsure the origin of purchase etc

Can you weigh it? The coin in the other thread was underweight by .9 grams. Conder101 stated the tolerances as:

Quote:
12.441 grams +/- .097 or 12.34 to 12.54 grams

You would expect the the letters to be fatter on his coin, it is considerably more worn. And as he pointed out it IS a different die with the mintmark in a different location.
