I received 3 old looking rolls from the bank and I was suspicious. When I opened them, they were all BU s or Wheat Cents!
The BU dates were;
1972 (I'll check for the DDO s and the DDR s)
1962-D
1962
1961

Nice, sounds like an old hoard that someone finally turned in. Definitely check those 72s for the doubled dies. Let us know if you find anything good!

Yes, there were. There was a 1912-S, 1909 V.D.B., and some Indians.

Very nice finds. The oldest rolls I have came across were old tore up rolls that the pennies had clearly been in for a while. They were full of 1980 and below. There was only a few 1980s and they were AU. However, there was only one wheat in them, a 1936. I was surprised and kind of annoyed, but it isn't every day you find solid rolls of copper, so I was okay.
