Thoughts On This Diocletian Follis?

Archraz Pillar of the Community United States 3499 Posts	Posted 03/07/2013 8:18 pm I picked up this nice Diocletian follis (29mm in diameter) from Antioch a long time ago, but I have never been quite sure as to how much my coin may be worth. This is a fairly common reverse type that was produced with a myriad of different field marks, etc. I think your coin would realize at least $60 but likely a bit more. FVRIVS RVFVS Pillar of the Community United States 3443 Posts	Posted 03/07/2013 8:53 pm I have listed nice folli on ebay and gotten $18. I have gone 'bottom feeding' and bought a few for under $12. I have seen dealers selling theirs for $30-40 and I have seen some asking $50-75 (whether they get it I don't know .... or care) A coin is only worth whatever some fool will pay for it !
