chrsmat71 Pillar of the Community United States 4971 Posts	Posted 03/08/2013 7:26 pm these clearly medieval, not ancient, being minted in the 14th century....however, the style is VERY 11th century bzantine...so probably of interest to you guys. Ivan Aleksandar, with Mihail Asen IV. 1331- - "1371 Struck circa 1331-1355 Christ, nimbate, standing facing, raising hands in benediction Ivan and Mihail standing facing, each holding scepter; banner between, stars flanking shaft; monograms around figures. these coins are silver and VERY thin. I don't think I'm going to get rid of one yet, I was planning on it, but between the two of them, you can kind of visualize what one in good conditon would look like. ige, about 18 mm or so at the widest point.
