My latest purchase.

I believe this was minted during the time of Pompey.

The reverse legend refers to the autonomous metropolis of Antioch.

SYRIA, Seleukis and Pieria, Antioch. Under Roman Rule.
Dated year 12 [Caesarian Era] (38/37 BC).
Obv...Laureate head of Zeus right
Rev... Tripod, cornucopiae on either side, ANTIOXEΩN MHTPOPOLEΩS AVTONOMOY

Thanks guys

The coin came from the middle east hence the sand patina.

Besides the nice portrait of Zeus, what attracted me to this coin is the two faces on either side of the bowl (lebes). I've tried to find other examples of this image in Greek, Syrian and Roman art but haven't seen any faces on bowls yet, just on these coins.

Makes me wonder what the engraver had in mind.
