Can anyone tell me how accurate the NGC price guide compared to the Grey sheet is for these? I have some GSA Morgans I am thinking of taking to a show Sunday to sell and want to know around how much I could expect? What I have are
80CC ms 63 NGC
81CC VAM 2
82CC
2 83CC one is a VAM 5A
and a 84CC MS64 NGC
any help appreciated

You have some valuable coins here. I normally use Greysheet and the NGC Price Guide for reference only. Most dealers at a show will offer you well back of Greysheet Bid for your coins and far, far under NGC Price Guide Values. I use recent completed auction listings to establish a retail price. Wholesale pricing varies widely. You'd likely get more for your coins selling or trading here at CCF or listing them on ebay.

It would help a lot to have pictures of these coins. I will assume they are all in GSA holders and typical coins for the GSA and NGC grades. Prices listed are retail and do not account for value added VAMs.

80CC ms 63 NGC $500 (assuming std 1880-CC)
81CC VAM 2 $450 to $600 (depending on condition, can go to $1,000 in MS64)
82CC $200 to $250
2 83CC one is a VAM 5A $200 (unless that VAM adds $)
and a 84CC MS64 NGC $250

Your 1880 and 1881 pieces are where most of the value is.

Based on my limited experience, the dealers will offer you $150 for 82/83/84 GSA Carsons, $275 for 1878cc and 1881cc GSAs and $350 for 1880cc GSA.

Id say your definitely better off selling/trading the 80 and 81 to another collector, not a dealer.
