Upgraded The Silver Roosies In My Dansco 8125

scotty11 Pillar of the Community United States 1042 Posts	Posted 03/10/2013 2:49 pm I bought the used album for $9.00 on a whim awhile back. I searched through 3 or 4 bank boxes and managed to fill most of the business strikes. Picked up the remaining business strikes and clad proofs here @ CCF and on ebay. Paid $70 for all of the 1992 through 2012 silver proofs @ my local coin shop about a month ago. I plugged 30 of the silver holes using my stash of junk-silver, figuring I'd eventually fill the remaining holes with stuff I picked out of my dealers junk box. Last week I stopped in to pick up a bag of wheats and he showed me a very used old Whitman album and I bought it for $125. Every silver was an upgrade. I think the dates on the Whitman ended in 1980? All of the business strikes were used as upgrades as well. The remaining holes in the old Whitman were filled with 1968 through 1980 clad proofs! The album is now complete to date.
