HELLOOO BIG BOY!

Look here! I want to buy coins in bulk. I know I can't deal with the coin companies directly. I however don't see why I can't buy unopened boxes of pennies online. Someone has got to sell them. I want to buy a lot of them like 100 boxes and have them shipped to my house! I don't care and know that I'm going to have to pay for shipping and all of that stuff. Please help me find a site I can buy these boxes. I want lots and lots of pennies and sit in my room for hours on end going through them as my summer project.

Ok thanks
GreenPrint

I have found this site however it dosen't look to reputable. Anyone find anything else?

If you want lots of pennies, you can always ask your local banks to order boxes/bags of pennies for you at face value, unless you are looking for unopened boxes of wheats. Not gonna be able to help you out there.

I don't want to go through the bank though because the bank will only let me get a couple at a time though. I want to get a lot at once. Do you really think the bank would allow me to get a lot of boxes at once? What's the max amount of boxes you've asked for? The most I ever did was 4.

You could find 10 banks to order you 10 boxes of cents each. I don't think that's unreasonable. My max order has been 12 boxes of dimes at one time. I would not expect a fee to place these orders.

If you don't mind spending extra, and want to purchase Lincoln Cents that are guaranteed never to have been viewed by others outside the Mint, you may want to consider purchasing the older $50.00 face value (5,000 coins) Mint Sewn Bags at whatever the current premium is, as this is where the real errors would be (like my avatar) found.

If you go this route, request high resolution photos of the stitching on both sides as the bags were stitched with a single thread (no 2nd stitch that requires a bobbin).

Other than the mint most places wouldn;t sell only as the shipping would be outrageous and the fact that you can go to any bank and get them most times for face value there would be no market for online sales.

I don't know how many you could order from him, and it would be pretty high, but you wouldn't have to go through any banks. Notice this is free shipping also.

Wow, I could go to the bank, get a box and sell it on ebay for double the value? Why have I not been doing this?

Well, you have got to consider shipping price, but yeah, you basically could.
