I see this coin as a f/vf grade how Close AM I ? also I am still checking the accuracy of Krause on values ,, if someone with a current Australian price Guide could give me a value opinion ?

I'd say VG/aF. The full band is not visible on the crown but some of it is visible. If there's a dot under the lower scroll it's worth <$1. If there's a dot under the lower and above the upper it's worth around AU$50.

Thanks Mark ,, I dont have an australian grading guide (Im not sure one exists) so you guys are my teachers on these coins !!

I really like the Aussie coppers !!

This coin only has the dot below the bottom scroll,,

maybe you can tell me what is the significance of the three varieties ,, no dots, single low dot , and two dots ?

Metalman the 1920 can have a dot below as well.

These coins were made in either Melbourne or Sydney. The dot below is for Melbourne....the dot above is Sydney. You can get a dot about the top scroll...which is somewhat scarce. The use of this is unknown to me but more than likely some sort of control marking to differentiate dies. There is also no dot varieties...again use of these is unknown to me.
