Another one from the Whitman book. This coin has the reveres streaking which I have seen on a lot of these coins coming from the Whitman. Will this streaking hurt the grading? Thanks for the help.   |

Unfortunately the reverse streaking and spotting will lower its eye appeal and grade. I am thinking around MS-61/62 RB.

 This may sound silly, but it was a shinny brand new 1961 Lincoln Cent that started my interest in coins (in 1961), as I found one on the grass near the sidewalk while waiting for the school bus. As I rotated the coin 180º and noticed the upside down date 1961 read the same in either direction just fascinated me at the time (at age 8), and a few years later would go to the local coin shop and purchase Indian cents at 3¢ each and Liberty Head Nickels at 8¢ each. Funny how memories from 52 years back jump to the front of the line when I can't remember what I did yesterday  |

Broken-Coin, You got the story wrong. The penny was from 1861 and you were waiting for the stagecoach. Where were you when Mckinley was shot  ? I kid, I kid. |

No offence but that would be a spender to me. The eye appeal is just not there.And the verdigris is pretty bad too.IMHO John1  |

No offence/offense taken. I already pushed it back into the Whitman book and I didn't use a glove  . |
