Correct me if I am wrong, but it doesn't have any excessive dark toning or damage, or no "film" intended to hide underlying surfaces. Report this Post to the Staff

I'll probably get it authenticated and graded first. It looks like it could easily grade MS65. A PCGS MS66 sold for $49,000 a couple years ago on Heritage. Acetone will normally remove tape residue but I would be hesitant to even try that on a potentially 5 figure coin. It has to be graded and authenticated to achieve maximum auction potential. NCS would be worth considering if the residue is strong. ANA #R3154474 Report this Post to the Staff
