Used to find em all the time, multiple silvers and solid rolls. Too many hunters out there now including filching tellers.

The teller at one bank I go to says she searches the rolls in the back. SO...I don't do my box buying there. I do my dumping there. :)

Oh, no, she doesn't open sealed boxes. She said she looks in customer rolls when they come in when she can.

It is not that uncommon for me to find silver in CWR - I put down 10% - particularly if you go to a bank and they just have a roll or two - not likely to be pre-searched.

I can't ever find any CWR on the half dollars. They never have them. It did happen once and of the two they had, one of the rolls had a 40% and a 90% in it. I wish I could get more of them.

I have NEVER found customer wrapped rolls at any bank.
The coins are either loose in the teller tray or in a zip lock baggie or in an envelope that the bank has stashed them away in.

When they do, sometimes they are already opened up so I don't know if they were picked through or if the bank needed some rolls for whatever reason. I have had some luck in the past with open boxes so I hate to discount them entirely.
