I just found an coin , on one side it says L.Vitellivs Imperator , on the other side its a flag and it says Ville de Vittel , ( villet de vittel its a place in france and the flag is coresponding to that place ) . I didnt found any similar Vitellivs coin , could this be a very very rare coin or just a fake ? the coin have like 3.5cm if I remember well . here are some pictures. and I am from Europe, Romania .

This piece is not a fake because
there is no attempt to reproduce any design that is on any genuine coin of Vitellius.

This is not a real coin, but some type of medal or token. What I find interesting is that the coat of arms has the papal keys in the design.

Was there any claim that Vittel was named for the emperor Vitellius? And if so, why the "L?" His father was Lucius Vitellius, Roman consul, though.

on wiki , I found that the son was named lucius vitellius the younger , and the face on the coin looks like him . His father has a curly hair. I will send an email to Vittel city and ask them if they know something. thank you , also do you think is worth something ?
