I've seen mention on different threads, "hurry only 300 left" and "wow 200 sets sold in an hour". My question is how do you find out how many coins are left on a particular mintage? and/or how fast they're selling?
Thanks in advance!

instructions for the mint website ( www.mint.ca) using the dragonfly coin as an example:

1. click on the coin
2. click on the add cart button
3. click on proceed to checkout
4. under quantity add 381 and above there will be a message - insufficient inventory to proceed
5. then change quantity to 380 and it will allow you to proceed with the order
Therefore, there is 380 dragonfly coins .

If you are checking the inventory of other coins, this process will only work with coins under 999 units. If you type 999 and allowed to proceed with the order, then you know there are more than 999 coins.

So then what would you do in the situation where there's a selling limit of say 3 per household, would you not only be able to enter the max limit #?

In this case, you would not be able to find out how many coins are available. The system only works with coins with no limits.
