I'm still very green at grading, but I'll make a fool of myself. I don't see any kind of wear, the fields are very devoid of marks. I would guess full head MS-65 if not MS-66.

Sure looks Mint State, no major marks, decent luster, good strike, full head possibly from a TPG.

MS65FH+

Gotta see this one in hand, as these can be tricky. Could easily have a touch of wear and knock it into AU, that's why I am a fan of TPG slabbing, especially PCGS, on this series, along with Walking Liberty halves, and all US gold coins, can be a tough call and the price spread is usually substantial enough to warrant it.

I don't like to give MS65FH from pictures, but I think I am forced to in this case.

I see a slight flat spot on Liberty's hair, but I think this is a slight weakeness of strike, because I can't see any signs of wear on any other high points in the design.
Carbon spot at 7:30 on rim on obverse.

God that is one of the most beautiful coins ever minted. If It has a flaw I don't see it in the pics. If its less than a 65 somebody has to tell me why.

On second look do I see some weakness in the shield? The bars look just a tad dull but thats like saying the Mona Lisa is only half smiling.

Thanks everyone. This is the new crown jewel in the type set.
Were very appreciative of all the nice comments.

We plan to keep it raw in the dansco 7070. Grading it is tempting though. It's a stunner.
