Very nice. But why not to extend it till non-working hours?
Hope for you BiBo, that you will get some nice staff there - like 1812 Mint rolls...

I got all the previous rolls.
They always do in that period of time.
I guess they avoid the rush hour traffic in DT.

Hey BiBo, will they be having anything else there other than 1812 stuff? I may want to go and express some of my RCM's concerns to the folks there!

Quote: will they be having anything else there other than 1812 stuff The Montreal road-show only had 1812 stuff. I highly suspect the Toronto version is most likely the same. Please don't hassle the poor mint ladies handing out the coins - they have some beefy Mint security guards around to keep the peace. ' ' I know we'd all love to give the Mint a piece of our minds.

It is for the new 1812 war quarter.
I have no idea if they will carry any previous one.
All the anouncement is posted above.

I went to the exchange in November when the Tecumseh coin was released. Warning - at lunch time the underground was super busy and the line up was really long. I didn't have a chance to speak with the workers at the table or the security guards, they really only answered questions about the coins they had available, the set in general and how many you could exchange.

Come on guys, it is just a coin exchange program.
Just exchange your coins and leave. Why have too much concerns.
I and my co-workers are enjoyed this event. We went their on break time, grap a coffee and get in the line, exchange and leave.

It was fun, no doubt about it. The ladies handing out the coins and cards were very friendly, and the guards, while maintaining order and security, were still pleasant and helping us out with the 1812 game.
By the way, bring lots of cash if you want to try to get some rolls. I didn't see any facilities for CC or debit cards at the road show today.

They only accept cash? What's the limit on the exchange? Can we exchange $100 for it :D And where exactly is the First Canadian Place "Community Corner"?
