I would say XF40 due to amount of detail in the hair, shield and eagle feathers.

My first impression was EF-40 but when I took a closer look, the breast and the feathers seemed a little too worn for a EF. I would have guessed VF-35.

 I would have guessed VF-35. Congrats on a better grade!! It's a beauty!!  (I am a little partial to Seated Liberty half dollars though, so I might be biased...)
